The brand draws its inspiration from Nordic nature and its forces. The name Pipaluuk comes from a Greenlandic woman's name meaning “small and lovely”. The fells and the endless beauty of the northern lights inspired a clothing collection that combines wild nature, its forces and colours with small, lovely details. The company was founded in Ostrobothnia, Finland, in 2019, and the Pipaluuk collection was launched a year later. Our clothes are designed to feel good and look good – because we believe beauty can be comfortable too.
