About Concept2
Brothers Peter and Dick Dreissigacker founded Concept2 in Vermont in 1976. The company started with rowing oars and developed its first indoor rower in 1981. Those rowing roots grew into an ergometer family for rowing, skiing and cycling.
In 2025, ownership transferred to the Concept2 Perpetual Purpose Trust to preserve the founders’ goals for the long term. League’s range includes RowErg D PM5, SkiErg 2 PM5, BikeErg and the SkiErg2 floor stand.
